Knowledgebase and E-infrastructure Group

The vegetation- and landscape ecological datasets owned and managed by the institute can be valued at national and international level. The societal and scientific utilization and publishing of these results are considered as strategic for science and society. Establishing the group creates a new organizational-administrative frame to continue and modernize further developments of information technology and data management of the institute. Our aims are: 1) To develop and deploy of new info services based on horizontal co-operation among departments and working groups of the institute. 2) To ensure secure, accessible and easy management of our valuable data sets and databases. 3) To prepare the institute for high level collaboration in international research and IT services. 4) To substantiate research e-infrastructure development for vegetation science group of LifeWatch ESFRI.
